After months of speculation, Miley Cyrus confirmed that she and her Last Song costar Liam Hemsworth are together, reports Usmagazine.com. In recent months the two were spotted kissing and holding hands which sparked rumors of a relationship.

When asked if she and the Australian actor are dating at Sunday night’s Academy Awards Cyrus, 17, answered, “Yes.” But when asked if she was in love, the actress didn’t want to reveal too much and coyly responded, “Maybe.”

The couple didn’t appear together on the red carpet. Instead Cyrus brought her mother, Tish, who showed off angel wing tattoos on her back.Red carpet interviewer Ryan Seacrest joked that Tish is a bad influence, to which Miley responded, “She has nice choices in tattoos.”

For her dress, Cyrus sported a champagne colored gown saying she wanted to look “Marilyn Monroe-esque.”"I am a little bit nervous about the stairs!" she said of the dress. "Last time I was here, I was with my dad and he kept stepping on my dress. I am hoping that doesn't happen again!"
