Miley Cyrus and potential Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum and have gotten into a bizarre feud over gay marriage. It started—as so many scandals do—with a tweet. In response to Urban Outfitters donating money to Santorum's past campaigns, Miley tweeted, "'IF WE ALLOW GAY MARRIAGE NEXT THING U KNOW PEOPLE WILL BE MARRYING GOLD FISH' – Rick Santorum UO contributed $13,000 to this mans campaign.”When Santorum one of Santorum's supporters asked “@MileyCyrus what happened to that Christian girl from TN with descent moral values and a lot of heart?”, Miley quickly responded, “what an ignorant statement. I don't have 'alot of heart' cuz im not gonna be a closed minded hypocrite? LOVE IS LOVE. GOD IS
LOVE.”All this went down about a week ago, but Santorum just couldn't let it go. The right-wing politician probably should have just ignored her, but instead he decided to get himself some free publicity and called out Miley Cyrus for her liberal views. Whatever your political views, you have to admit that it's funny a legitimate presidential candidate has gotten into a Twitter feud with Miley friggin' Cyrus.
