Everyday all we read about when it comes to Miley Cyrus is about her tour and right now her Australian tour stop. It has gotten to the point where they have run out of things to say and have now resorted to reporting on mundane and pointless stories. Is Miley Cyrus being over-hyped? Over the last week all we have heard about is how Miley Cyrus is butchering covers on this tour and how fans have been going crazy over her. But today we hit the low point in the Miley Cyrus news coverage when we had to read about how she went shopping with her mother. For goodness sakes.
I can't believe that even the biggest Cyrus fans really cares that she went out with her mother to spend a ridiculous amount of money on things she will probably never use and forget about when she comes back to the U.S.. Has Miley really become this boring? It was funny when all we were reading about was how badly she was performing during her tour. From butchered covers of Nirvana's Smells like Teen Spirit to Fleetwood Mac's Landslide, it seemed as if Cyrus was ready to implode and finally exit stage left. The horrible dancing alone during Teen Spirit should have gotten her dropped from her label and banished from music forever. However enjoyable it was to read those stories it has been equally painful to read about her shopping trip with her mother. It seems that the news is either ripping her or boring us to death. I think it is time to declare Miley Cyrus over-hyped during this tour and take a step back and write about her when she actually does something worth writing about.
