Supposedly there was a huge uproar against the plans to demolish farm land on Philip Island in Australia just to make room for housing development. Miley Cyrus took it to Twitter to share her opinion(she was against it) and to start a petition. According to reports, Miley might have saved the island but planning minister says that’s not true. This was his statement:
According to the mayor, the community’s efforts and hard work was what halted the plans of suburbanization. I don’t know if its true that Miley had something to do with it or not, but I admire the fact that she sticks to what she believes in.
