VH1 has brought back their Pop Up videos, in which they share tidbits with their viewers on classic videos. Recently Miley Cyrus’ “Party in the USA” got the treatment. I love videos like these, I even watch them if I don’t care for the songs. I think learning about the facts behind them is the most interesting part of them. This video is full of fun tidbits, and while some Miley fans will likely already know some of this-you may find yourself surprised. I am wondering how Miley feels about this honor? They don’t do that just to any video, so it should be a major boost in her self-confidence from her fans. I am sure that video will get plenty of views on their website and YouTube.
Are you happy that they choose a video by Miley? I think that it is a nice touch for her and maybe it will be the boost she needs. However, it is just re-airing a video with a bit of editing. It is exciting, but not life changing. Maybe she can prove us all wrong and come out with some statement. But she hasn’t really been heard from since her tour this year, so I doubt we will hear from her about this honor.
