Miley Cyrus and 50 Cent were an unlikely duo at last night's American Giving Awards in L.A. But, judging by the pictures, these two seem like the best of friends! They posed backstage and both showed off their snazzy holiday ensembles.

Cyrus wore a gorgeous champagne Jenny Packham frock, while Mr. Cent sported a suave suit and shiny tie to the event, which was a televised celebrity tribute to community heroes. Five charities have the chance to take home $1 million grants from Chase, and the big winner will be announced when the event airs on TV tonight. Perhaps these two were brought together by their love of giving back.
Ms. Cyrus has been working with a charity called To Write Love on her Arms and tweeted about her experience."Such an amazing night! Thank you @TWLOHA for making me apart of this magical experience! :)" she wrote.
Fiddy actually started up his own charitable endeavor this year. He teamed up with Pure Growth Partners and created the Street King energy shot. And, for every shot that's purchased, a meal goes to a hungry child. The rapper aims to feed a billion kids using his one-for-one business model and tweets about his goal almost as much as he used to talk about hot women. "If you like THE BIG TEN support street king get with the movement. I will feed a billion kids watch #SK" he wrote recently about his new mixtape and charity.
