Miley Cyrus has always commanded an enormous fan base ever since her earliest days as Disney darling Hannah Montana. Unfortunately, she has also acquired a large and incredibly annoying group of haters who lambast her at every opportunity--mostly for her insistence on growing up and being a woman and her failure to conform to their definition of a suitable "role model for young girls." In a recent interview, Miley Cyrus fired back at her haters by asserting that she is still the "perfect role model for normal girls everywhere." Take that, Haters.

"I take being a role model very seriously," Miley explained, "and that's why I try so hard to relate to my fans. I'm not here to be something that I'm not. I feel like I can help them go through whatever it is they are going through and they can help me too."
One of the ways in which Miley is a positive role model is her relationship with her boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth. Inside sources say Miley is totally smitten with the Australian Hunger Games star, and that she believes he is "the one." Reportedly, the couple will definitely spend the holidays together although they're not sure whose family they will visit on the big day. Kudos to Miley Cyrus for standing up to her haters and hopefully, finally, making them shut up. At least for a little while.
