We have all the sights – Big Ben, The Tower of London and, er, the Pleasure Beach in Blackpool. When mini megastar Miley Cyrus, 17, flew in to perform at this week’s Royal Variety performance, she couldn’t wait to take in Britain’s most famous seaside town.

At the top of her things to see list, was the Pleasure Beach! Although she’s a million dollar star with world domination imminent, Miley, left, was refused entry as the “pleasure season” ended in November.

A park insider told us: “We have a two-month window when we do maintenance and check the rides are all in tip-top order. “There is no way we would make special allowances. One of our philosophies is that everyone gets treated as equals. “When celebrities come here they even have to queue like the rest of us.” Miley later paid £4,000 for a helicopter ride to see Blackpool illuminations, only to realise they had been turned off.

The pint-sized popstrel said: “It’s a bit weird being in a different country that I’m not used to. I’m like ‘Is the food going to be the same as home?’ and I was kind of stressed about that. “But now having people that have heard my music and that are really big fans – I feel like in the UK I can be a little bit more like myself actually.” The insider added: “Miley is more than welcome in the summer.” You can be yourself Miley, but don’t expect VIP treatment.
