In the last six months, she looks to have veered a long way off from her Hannah Montana days. She has decided to go through her ‘rebel stage’ and as long as it is raining green wads on her, it will seem to be a wise decision, but a possible casualty may be Disney.

Because the show Hannah Montana is set to head into its fourth and final season and it is a redoubtable proposition whether those familiar with Miley’s recent image overhaul will be able to accept her as the rainbow girl from the Disney hit. And for all her hot pants, some slightly traditional of those parents can’t even propose Miley as an idol for her teenage broods any more.

But be as it may, Disney has decided to go on with it, perhaps with an eye at cashing on Miley’s recent popularity in different demographic pockets. It may potentially backfire, but as of now, it seems to be a risk worth taking.

Meanwhile, Miley may see a small erosion of that fanbase after she went vocal about her disapproval of the Twilight franchise. She may not like it, but her bold declaration that it “repulses” her, is sure going to win her some enemies in coming days. Was it wise on her part? Only days will tell.
